Marci Eversole
Marci Eversole is the person-in-charge at Escapade Productions where for the last 13 years she has serviced clients from around the globe, creating events, marketing campaigns, sales blitzes and anything else that is encompassed in the production of events. Whether intimate, small VIP gatherings or large tradeshows, or any and everything in between, Escapade has been instrumental in helping to create successes for their clients worldwide. Prior to starting Escapade, Marci was Operations Manager for TPD Publishing an international publishing company where she was responsible for the production of events around the world. Before TPD, Marci helped start an event company called Thunder Lizard Productions, where she was responsible for all business and event operations, from finding venues to balancing the checkbook. Before Marci took the deep dive into creating, producing, and executing events around the world, she followed the Grateful Dead for many years, making friends and business connections everywhere she traveled.


Rod Dunlap
With over 10 years of experience in event management, Rod has managed partner sales and marketing for Penton Media and Microsoft. He has worked on a variety of events including: TechEd, Worldwide Partner Conference, PDC, DevConnections & countless other product launches. Rod has developed sponsorship packages, negotiated custom sponsorship benefits and pricing and designed new marketing brochures for events.

Rod has an extensive sales background in B to B sales and sales to retail and online accounts. He brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience from numerous industries including: medical software, B to B computer and software sales and sporting goods. Rod has designed new products, developed manufacturing relationships overseas and built retail and distribution channels from the ground up.

Rod has a history of surpassing revenue goals and surpassing client expectations.


Chris Kurtz
Chris Kurtz is a respected professional with broad experience in events planning and management.

He has a wide range of skills and experience that cover the entire customer experience from Sponsorship and Exhibitor sales for Tier 1 events, to managing logistics and on-site details for Fortune 500 clients and partners.

Chris is dedicated to driving for results and high client/partner satisfaction, often getting the highest marks for partner sat in the events he has managed. In addition to his event management background, Chris has over 8 years supporting senior level executives in the biotech industry, which helped him develop an extensive set of administrative and project management skills.


Toby Malina
Toby has been involved with technology and training for more than 20 years, including as a producer for online training company lynda.com; as a production/event manager for live events such as Flashforward, An Event Apart, and Thunder Lizard Productions; as technical director for video-production company Avondale Media; as senior field producer for One World Journeys expeditions; and as the co-author of two editions of Sell it on eBay. Toby's focus is on delivering the highest standard of client service no matter the size or scope of the project or event.


Ron Richter
Ron has worked with Microsoft partners for over 9 years, as a sales support person at Microsoft for Dynamics NAV partners from 2003 to 2005, and then by providing lead generation and other marketing services through his own company—PraestoUSA. Ron now supports Microsoft and other events, providing registration assistance for Exhibitors and Sponsors of events across the globe. Some of the major events he works on include Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, Microsoft Convergence, and Microsoft TechEd North America and Europe. Ron has also worked on Sponsorship sales for the Microsoft Partners in Learning Global Forum, which is a Microsoft program dedicated to providing better teaching and technology in today’s schools.


Stephen Vanore
Shortly after graduating from Providence College with a BA in Political Science, Stephen began his career in the events industry, planning continuing education events for medical professionals. During this time he was responsible for managing various aspects of the planning process, including registration, housing, transportation and budget management. After relocating to Seattle in 2007, Stephen continued his work in the events industry as a finance manager, responsible for overseeing multi-million dollar event revenue streams. Stephen’s attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile makes him a valuable asset to any team.
